GM crops and artificial control of nutrition

There has been a tremendous amount of debate and research into the effect of genetically modified crops on the environment, particularly with regard to cross pollination with non GM crops, and the potential implications for pollinators, particularly bees, but there is another aspect to GM that receives somewhat less coverage, even amongst anti GM protest groups. There is evidence now being produced that in the development of these crops, the altering of genetic material has the side effect of changing the nutrient profile of the crop. This is particularly seen in trace nutrients and vitamins. Recent studies have suggested that populations of mice fed on a GM diet suffer from health problems associated with deficiencies in vitamin A, some B vitamin complexes and mineral nutrients. On further investigation it appeared that these deficiencies are the result of the removal of the constituents of these vitamins and minerals from the food source.

The researchers could find no natural reason for these deficiencies, and it appears that the real reason for them is that as part of the splicing of extra genetic material into the DNA of the target crop there was a deliberate modification to remove these essential nutrients. If this is the case it does rather beg the question why, and here we see the tie ins between the large agri-chemical companies, particularly Monsanto and the large pharmaceutical companies. It is interesting to note that the boards of companies in these fields demonstrate a tremendous amount of crossover, and the question must be asked “Who benefits from large sections of the population being malnourished?” The answer is obvious, particularly when you consider that the development of GM crops is specifically designed to create food for the developing World and for the poorest members of society.

The wealthy are always going to be able to afford higher priced organic, natural foods and are thereby not affected by these developments, so it is once again the poorest who are being targeted. By keeping the poor underfed and under nourished they are yet again kept in a position of subservience, and are kept at the mercy of the global corporate elite. This is a planned part of the conspiracy to increase the gulf between the haves and have nots, and once again demonstrates the cynical manipulation of global populations for nefarious purposes. In essence this is part of the conspiracy to create a true slave race, compliant and subservient and ready to accept the arrival of their true masters. Watch this space for further developments.....
