UK UFO conspiracy

From our defence correspondent :

Since the 1940's there has been a policy with UK MoD circles to dismiss in public any UFO reports that are reported. This has been aided by the wealth of reports that have been easily explained by chinese lanterns, meteorological phenomena, planes and even planets. Over time the ease with which the public misinterpret common events has led to a level of complacency within the intelligence community. This is not replicated in the manner in which military sightings are treated. It is a little known fact the every military base operated by UK MoD has a two man team within the military police (MP) division whose specific task is to monitor base security with regard to UFO activity. These teams have a seperate reporting structure to standard MP direct reports, and over the last 30 years have made an average of 13.25 reports of UFO activity with a high probability (70%+) of extra-terrestrial origin.

These reports include sightings of craft in flight, close encounters with landed craft, interactions between craft and equipment and personnel and disappearances of military personnel (abductions). It is interesting to note that there are currently no reports of interaction with or evidence of alien entities, and all craft have been robotic and/or remotely controlled. It appears, from investigation of landed craft that the point of origin of the craft is a planet or planets that have considerably different environmental conditions to those on Earth. Consequently it is anticipated that direct contact with extra-terrestial lifeforms is at this time unlikely. It is also interesting to note that there is no evidence of an attempt be extra-terrestrials to make contact with humanity. This is in contrast to Earth based attempts such as the gold disc attached to the Voyager space craft (developed by Carl Sagan) and the work of SETI in broadcasting radio and laser signals towards likely extra-solar planets.

Current thinking is that this is evidence that there is no interest on the part of extra-terrestrials in making contact with humanity and therefore that the craft visiting the Earth are exploration probes investigating the planet and its environment rather than humanity itself. It has also been noted that all of the craft observed closely enough to be categorised have appeared to be of different designs and construction, suggesting strongly a likelihood of multiple origins. Given the difficulties of inter-stellar travel it is therefore though likely that if these craft do indeed have different origins, it is likely that there is inter-species communication between extra-terrestrial groups as the likelihood of multi non-communicating species finding Earth by coincidence within a 50 year period is so low as to be discountable.

There is currently no evidence for a reason for UFO activity and it is considered most likely that the best reason is exploration and research, but it should be noted that based on current reports it is considered unlikely that current military technology would present no threat to the UFO types currently observed. There are, to date, in UK MoD records, reports of 43 seperate types of UFO craft, thought to represent at least 15 separate technology origins. The craft are constructed of an unknown non-metallic material which appears resistant to penetration by any currently known means. The material is thought to be at least semi-organic in nature and potentially at least semi-intelligent. This is interpreted currently as suggesting a form of cybernetic/organic/synthetic autonomous, self repairing, intelligent exploration construction. Propulsion mechanism are unknown but based on observation evidence suggest at least gravity nullification, and possibly a form of gravity manipulation drive.

It should be noted that there is no evidence currently of any crashed UFO technology, and it is though that to all intents and purposes, from a human perspective, these craft may be considered indestructible and immortal. This further suggests the possibility that the original creator races of these craft may no longer exist, as establishing an age for these craft would be impossible currently. It has also been noted on two occasions that individual craft have been reported with markings that suggest similarities with Sumerian, Egyptian and northern European script characters suggesting multiple historical encounters. It is currently the case that although reports of UFO activity dating before 1940, whilst acknowledged as existing, are not considered reliable enough to be of use. It should also be noted that trans-national co-operation in the field of military UFO investigation is non-existant, suggested to be because of the potential for technology gains. It is the opinion of this writer that the technology involved in UFO craft is of such a level beyond our own that without co-operative effort and openness it is unlikely to be understandable, given the apparent disparity between species developmental paths.
